Biography

 

Upon completion her studies at the Opava Gymnasium in 1999, she was accepted into the composition class of Mgr. Edvard Schiffauer at the Janacek Conservatory in Ostrava. She completed her studies in 2003 with a MASS for mixed choir. The same year she was accepted to the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague into the class of doc. Juraj Filas. In 2006 she completed her Bachelor's studies with ZÁTIŠÍ /RETREAT/, a composition for chamber orchestra inspired by Vojtěch Pálka's text and drawings. Presently she is continuing her studies in the Master's Degree program.

2001 - 2002 participated in the theatre play Cyrano de Bergerac (soprano saxophone, percussion), National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava and external music cooperation with Arena Theatre in Ostrava.
2001 - 2003 studied at People's Conservatory in Ostrava, Creative Dept. (drawing, graphic)
2004 - 2005 contributed articles to Literární noviny (Literature News) (Music Tips column)
2005 external cooperation with the national radio station Český rozhlas 3 Vltava (Musica moderna program)
31. 12. 2005 - premiere of FRAGMENTY Z PŘEDJAŘÍ /EARLY SPRING FRAGMENTS/ based on texts by Ivana Skokanová played in the program by Michal Rataj at čRo 3 station (www.rozhlas.cz/radiocustica/archiv)
2005 creative work under the guidance of Academy Artist Milena Dopitová
2006 landscape painting course under Academy Artist Vladivoj Kotyza
