- Leos Janacek Foundation Prize 1998 (oratorio Stabat Mater for soprano, alto, children's (girl's) choir, organ and symphony orchestra)

Employment

- He teaches at the Evangelic Academy's Conservatoire in Olomouc (professor)

The works of Robert Hejnar have been performed by conductors, such as J.Chvala, O.Trhlik, O.Kukal, S.Vavrinek, P.Vrabel, M.Doubravsky a. o., and played by symphony orchestras, such as Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, North Czech Philharmonic Teplice, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, South Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic Ceske Budejovice, West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra of Marianske Lazne, Chamber Orchestra Berg, Bohuslav Martinu Chamber Orchestra, Prague Student Orchestra a. o. His works has been performed at many music festivals in the Czech Republic (Forfest Kromeriz, Smetana\'s Litomysl International Opera Festival a. o.)
