Martina Kachlová studied piano from 2005 to 2011 at the Pavel Josef Vejvanovský Conservatoire in Kroměříž in the class of Jana Špaňhelová and Zdeněk Mucha. While studying piano, she also studied composition privately with Miloslav Bubeníček, Ingrid Silná, and Prof. František Emmert, with whom she later continued to study in bachelor degree at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno (from 2009 to 2012, her graduating piece was Quattro stagioni - pizza for string orchestra). She has finished her studies of master degree in the compositional class of Lucia Papanetzová at University of Perfoming Arts in Bratislava (her graduate's composition was Bratislava's Bridges for symphony orchestra). Alongside her studies, she has been devoting herself to teaching at elementary music schools in Brno (piano, composition, since 2011), and later on in Bratislava as well.
